The Role:
Recorra’s Marketing team is seeking an additional team member to assist with our internal and external communications. This generalist marketing position offers the opportunity to learn from a team of seven experienced communications professionals, while progressively taking ownership of campaigns from briefing through to delivery. We’re looking for someone with strong copywriting skills, copyediting skills, and an eagle eye for detail for this hands‑on, in‑house marketing role.
Responsibilities:
Support the Marketing team in delivering integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns
With guidance from the Marketing Manager, outline, write, edit, and publish external communications including blogs, brochures, case studies, emails, newsletters, press releases, and website content
Support internal communications by drafting and editing newsletters, presentations, and internal emails.
Assist with the planning and delivery of creative campaigns to support new product and service launches
Manage and develop Recorra’s social media channels by creating engaging, on‑brand content
Plan and maintain weekly and monthly social media content calendars aligned with company strategy
Lead social media meetings, manage actions, and identify opportunities to improve performance through best practice and trend awareness
Support the planning and delivery of client‑facing events, including volunteer days, workshops, and webinars
Assist with award applications, including planning submissions, coordinating entries, and organising attendance at relevant ceremonies
Work closely with colleagues across the Marketing team and wider business to support commercial and company‑wide objectives
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure content supports SEO goals and keyword strategy
Support the Content Creator on video shoot days by assisting with planning and on‑the‑day coordination
Act as a brand champion, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging, and visual identity across all communications
About you:
Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media, or similar)
2–3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role (in‑house or agency)
Strong copywriting and copy‑editing skills across digital and print channels
Experience supporting or delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns
Confident project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and confidence reviewing content for accuracy, tone, and consistency
Basic understanding of social media platforms and content planning
Proactive, organised, and keen to learn and develop within a collaborative team
Interest in sustainability, purpose‑led brands, or the green business sector (desirable)
